Though to be fair—there's worse places to be held for all eternity than in a space station Library.
Run by Ninjas.

And sometimes Pirates happen.

But that's another story.

Hello! If you are seeing this then you are reading my sticky page, (Which is not as filthy as it sounds, sorry…)
so hurray for you!

While this journal is not strictly friends only, a comment or message before adding would be appreciated. I won't block you if you add me without a message, but unless your profile/last ten entries look somewhat interesting, chances are I won't subscribe or grant you access. So come in, put the kettle on (one size fits none ) and pass the cake. Just watch out for that ninja over there. Aha I'm just kidding.

They're totally right behind you.

Help they're keeping me captive: the book palace

ACTA in a Nutshell –

What is ACTA?  ACTA is the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement. A new intellectual property enforcement treaty being negotiated by the United States, the European Community, Switzerland, and Japan, with Australia, the Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Mexico, Jordan, Morocco, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada recently announcing that they will join in as well.

Why should you care about ACTA? Initial reports indicate that the treaty will have a very broad scope and will involve new tools targeting “Internet distribution and information technology.”

What is the goal of ACTA? Reportedly the goal is to create new legal standards of intellectual property enforcement, as well as increased international cooperation, an example of which would be an increase in information sharing between signatory countries’ law enforcement agencies.
